Sometimes people ask: "What good will knowing my instruction manual do me? Don't I already know myself?"

This is a wonderful question; a very fundamental one, and one I often overlook answering because I'm constantly involved in it.

The point is, life "happens" to you every day. You experience things one way or another, and call some bad, some good. Let's call these ups and downs "the waves of life." When life comes to you with these waves, you often react with surprise or not knowing what to do. Human design gives you a sail yacht and shows you how to sail. So when life's waves and winds come your way, you can set sail and enjoy your life.

Of course, there will be difficulties, but they don't have to be hard. You can grasp the universe's messages from the beginning and progress and expand in your life with smoother transitions instead of hard experiences. Also, when you live according to your design, only difficulties that help you grow will always come your way; you'll stop trying to grow by trying to solve problems that are not yours.

For example, if you were designed as a violin and tried to be a drum since young ages, human design helps you take off that ill-fitting garment. So as you play your violin, the whole orchestra takes its place around you...
