Human Design Energy Types
Updated: 5 days ago
In Human Design knowledge, energy types are the most fundamental information. You can build all other abilities and tips upon this foundation. Even if you forget everything else later, knowing your energy type, strategy, and authority provides enough cues to act in daily life, and the rest of your chart will activate automatically. In short, if you are designed to be a violin, trying to be a drum might lead you to difficult experiences in your life. So, if you are a violin, play the violin, and the whole orchestra will begin to gather around you.
Generators
Life force
Generators (and manifesting generators) produce the life force in the world. The trick is to do things you enjoy doing. They contribute to the life energy in the world as long as they do the things that make them enjoy doing at that moment, regardless of any result expectation, they lose the perception of time and do it as if they could do it forever, as if they were playing a game.
Generators have a magnetic aura and attract opportunities and people to themselves.
Strategy: To response | Signature: Satisfaction | Not-self: Frustration |
Manifesting Generators
Pioneer
Manifesting generators are also similar to generators in their core dynamics. Additionally, they have creative manifestation abilities. They thrive on diversity, can nimbly shift from topic to topic, and are here to break taboos and show us new paths, new ways of doing things. They are usually very skilled in their charts.
Manifesting generators also have a magnetic aura and attract opportunities and people to themselves.
Strategy: To respond | Signature: Satisfaction | Not-self: Frustration |
Projectors
Guide
In Human Design, projectors are the newest energy type. They are here to guide us, prepare us through a new evolution. The most important talent of projectors is their ability to see, and each projector has its own niche of expertise. They see better than anyone else what everyone else overlooks, the truth, what needs improvement, and guide us towards a higher quality of life experience. Projectors are as successful as they make others successful, and they can work with great efficiency in short times.
Projectors have a penetrating aura. They see the truth and, with the right invitation, share their wisdom.
Strategy: Wait for the invitation | Signature: Success | Not-self: Bitterness |
Manifestors
Creative voice of the universe
Manifestors are like the kings and queens of old times. They are the most dominant energy type. Driven by an inner creative urge, they create new solutions. With their explosive energy, they can activate masses, and after each creative cycle, they retreat to rest. While their independent nature might sometimes make them seem headstrong, but this is what they are designed to do, create innovation.
Manifestors have intense and selective aura. This allows them to both maintain their sensitive nature and cultivate a circle of the right people.
Strategy: To inform | Signature: Peace | Not-self: Anger |
Reflectors
Mirror of the society
Reflectors are the rarest and wisest type of energy. Human design, calls them the unicorns. Due to their highly sensitive nature, they are very responsive to what is happening around them. Like a chameleon, they can shapeshift and adapt to any environment or person. Therefore, being in the right environment is crucial for them. Like a mirror, everyone who looks into them sees a part of themselves. Ultimately, the wisest type of energy is the reflector. A reflector can be anyone or anything.
Reflectors have a sampling aura. They sample and borrow the energies around them and of planetary cycles.
Strategy: Wait for a moon cycle | Signature: Surprise | Not-self: Disappointment |
